Book: Minute Mysteries?

does anyone have this book? Is it just a rehash of the other mystery books, or does it have stuff never released before? Thanks,

Minute Mysteries is kind of pointless, imo. Others here will probably disagree, but unless you, like me, want to have all of the AG books, it might not be the best choice. However, you have a young girl, and it might be fun for her. As an adult, I found it kind of silly. Most of the mysteries inside are rehashing from the original books. They'll take a subplot from one of the original books, and tweak it a little to come up with something to solve.

There have been a number of threads about it, and some people liked it. In one, I re-wrote an entire mystery from the book, it was an Addy one, about riddles with her brother (you can see where that's taken from her books, mostly Meet Addy).

I'd definitely suggest looking at it in a bookstore before buying it [img]smile.gif[/img] .

My seven-year-old has it, and it's right at her level. I doubt that older girls or adults would care that much about it, but it's cute for little girls.

Each mystery is an abridged version of some of the historicals' stories. It includes core collection books, short stories and adventure stories. Each story is rewritten so it contains a mystery to solve at the end. The mysteries are fun and challenging. I was able to solve some of them and not all. This is a cute in-store read but once you solve the mysteries, there's no point in the book!
